  • Guide CRUCIBLE’s mission to support flourishing pastors and families, and ensure programs reflect this purpose.
  • Support planning, delivery, and improvement of programs while managing daily operations and resources wisely.
  • Develop relationships with churches, seminaries, donors, and counselors to strengthen support for pastoral care.
  • Lead fundraising and communications to advance CRUCIBLE’s mission.
  • Monitor results, gather feedback, and guide growth of the ministry by learning what works and sharing impact with key stakeholders

Programs Director

  • Help plan and coordinate retreats, trainings, and support gatherings in line with CRUCIBLE’s mission.
  • Connect with pastors, church leaders, volunteers, and partners to support program delivery and collaboration.
  • Collect data, testimonies, and participant feedback to help improve programs and share impact.
  • Support the Executive Director by drafting updates, reports, and content for donors or supporters.
  • Provide information and stories to assist in writing proposals and communicating with potential supporters.
CRUCIBLE Volunteers

Who They Are

CRUCIBLE Volunteers are passionate individuals who believe in the mission of restoring and renewing Africa’s weary pastors and their families. They offer their time, skills, and compassion to help encourage and supports pastors and or their spouses and children.

Key Roles:

  1. Program Support: Assist in organizing and hosting retreats, trainings, and support gatherings offering logistical help, hospitality, and encouragement to participants.
  2. Pastoral Care Support: For trained counselors, chaplains, or spiritual caregivers: offer listening ears, guided reflection, or spiritual care to pastors and their families in partnership with the core team.
  3. Communications and Storytelling: Help document and share stories of impact through writing, photography, video, or social media—raising awareness and support for the work.
  4. Prayer and Encouragement: Commit to regularly praying for pastors in need and sending messages of encouragement, reminding them they are not alone.
  5. Administrative and Logistical Help: Offer behind-the-scenes support such as preparing materials, organizing records, following up with participants, or helping with data collection.

Board of Trustees

  1. Governance and Strategic Oversight: Provide overall leadership, policy direction, and long-term strategic guidance for CRUCIBLE’s growth and sustainability.
  2. Mission Alignment: Ensure that all programs and decisions reflect CRUCIBLE’s vision, values, and prayerful commitment to the flourishing of pastors and their families.
  3. Fiduciary Responsibility: Oversee financial health and stewardship of resources through sound financial policies, audits, and accountability practices.
  4. Support to the Executive Director: Offer encouragement, counsel, and practical support to the Executive Director in his or her leadership and operations.
  5. Advocacy and Resource Mobilization: Champion CRUCIBLE’s cause by building networks, engaging potential partners, and contributing to fundraising and visibility efforts.
